Community Emergency Response Team
Community Emergency Response Teams (C.E.R.T.)
are made up of volunteers that have completed a course of study outlined by the
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). These volunteers would then help
public safety organizations within the community if a disaster strikes and local
public safety agencies such as fire and police departments are overwhelmed.
